THE MATCH SECRETARY
THE MATCH SECRETARY SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ORGANIZING ALL MATCHES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MATCH RULES
HE MAY APPOINT DEPUTIES TO ASSIST HIM IN HIS DUTIES AT ANY TIME. HE WILL SUPERVISE ALL SPECIMEN FISH RECORDS,
MATCH POINT SYSTEMS, AWARDS AND TROPHIES.
HE WILL FROM TIME TO TIME PUBLISH RESULTS IN THE LOCAL PRESS AND WILL UPDATE THE COMMITTEE MONTHLY.
28th November - Match Result - Masters Final / Pairs Final
A cold and snowy day saw 18 anglers contest the final points match of 2010. Match winner was Lee Davison with 10 unseasonable carp and 2 skimmers for 39 lb 4 oz, Brian Manser was runner up with Dave Haddon in third place.
Next points match is not until 6th February when we're back on Kingfisher for the Presidents Cup. However if you're able to fish on a Wednesday don't miss the Winter League being run by Rob Ribbens starting this Wednesday 1st December - full details here - this was a thoroughly enjoyable series last year so wrap up warm, pack your ice breaker (!) and we'll see you there.

13 fished on a miserable day when the rain didn't stop once in the full five hours of the match (we must be mad !) a tidy win for Keith Matthews with three carp, Shaun Strand second and Chris Langdon in 3rd place - HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRIS - full result as follows :

31st October - Match Result - Mayor of Ryde Final / Singles 3rd round
17 fished today and another hard match for most - once again Ian Jones the clear winner, with Shaun Strand and Brian Stean as runners up. Thankfully this is the last of the silver only fixtures for the year ! :
