Our main aim is to preserve, protect, procure & promote
      freshwater angling                 on the Isle of Wight for all anglers

Mr. Ray J. Kirby is the Secretary for the Isle of Wight Freshwater Angling Association.

 

Ray joined the Association in 1975 and was elected to the committee in 1985 and became Secretary in 1996.

 Ray was re-elected at the AGM 1999 to stand for a period of five years.

In 2005 re-elected for a second period of 5 years

Memberships

Renewal subscriptions must be paid before June 1st otherwise Membership is deemed to have lapsed. 

Lapsed members will after that time have to pay an additional joining fee £5.00


Day Permits

are available

Strictly no fishing before buying ticket

 from Scotties of 11 Lugley Street Newport, & Scotties of 22 Fitzroy Street, Sandown  At £8.00 per day and £15.00 per 6 day for Gunville Lake, Merstone Fisheries and Somerton Reservoir

The Secretary


The Secretary shall conduct all correspondence and keep all minute books and other documents including all membership details. He shall conduct all Association business subject to the direction of the committee, and shall receive all subscriptions to pass to the Treasurer, he shall also maintain a £200.00 float.
On retirement from office, he shall hand over to his successor or to the Chairman all books and paperwork appertaining to his office and all monies held.
The Secretary shall at all times act in accordance with the instructions of the committee, in case of his absence his duties shall be undertaken by an Assistant Secretary.
